This presentation was part of the webminar titled “Recent evidence about spasticity and related concepts” and focuses on children with cerebral palsy and sarcopenia.
He is currently a full professor and researcher at the La Salle Higher Center for University Studies (CSEU), Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). He combines the functions of Dean with patient care activity at the La Salle Functional Rehabilitation Institute. He is a visiting professor in the postgraduate area at several national and international universities. For more than 10 years he participated in assistance, teaching and research at the Movement Analysis Laboratory (LAM) of the Niño Jesús University Children’s Hospital (Madrid). He currently participates actively in the research activity of the LAM, as well as in therapeutic planning as a collaborator of the Neuro-Orthopedics unit. As a researcher, he participates in several lines related to movement disorders in populations with high chronicity (musculoskeletal pain, cerebral palsy, rare diseases and stroke).
